Also...The EarthKeepers' Magazine Reuse and Recycle Program is a huge success. Thanks to the efforts of the many members and residents who fill the magazine bins at the Downtown Development Office and the River Club in Osprey Cove, we collect and distribute 60-70 magazines a week. These magazines are used in our local hospital, the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, our local nursing homes, Magnolia Manor, the Mews at St. Marys and the Convalescent Center on Dilworth Drive. Our magazines also find their way to the Senior Center of Camden County and the recycle center in American Beach in Fernandina.

If you know of other organizations who would like to have these magazines, please call Fred Denison at 729-1020 or Frank Quinby at 576 7171.

Please send your used cell phones to: INC. on 860C Kingsbay Rd. (912-673-6745) recycles computers and computer parts.

Please also remember that Habitat for Humanity's Re-Store (302 S. Lee Street, Kingsland) accepts donations of saleable used building materials such as cabinets, lighting and plumbing fixtures, doors, lumber, flooring, and windows. Some materials will be used to build Habitat houses. The rest will be sold to the public at 50-75% off the retail price.
